ZEUS
Background information

ZEUS is a heavy stoner rock and grunge band from The Netherlands. They have made two albums.

HistoryEdit

ZEUS is a Dutch (stoner) rock band, founded in 2003 by Jeroen van Koningsbrugge, Roy and Paul Jansen. In 2004 she left for the United States to play at CBGB's, one of the most famous blues and punk clubs in the world. In 2005 the album was released by Bad Signs Sixxkiller, the record label of ZEUS.

In 2007, 07 was recorded by producer Marcel van der Voort Vonder. [1] The recordings took place in Oss (Noord-Brabant) in the Torture Garden Studios. The album was released by Freebird Records.

In 2009 it was announced that the band was looking for a new bass player, because bassist Bob Gerritsen would be leaving the band at the end of the year. His place was taken by Rowdy Lemaire. In late 2010 ZEUS was inactive because the activities around Dress! and other activities of Koningsbrugge cost too much time.

In 2014 ZEUS was the title song for the TV series Cop, where Jeroen van Koningsbrugge played one of the lead roles.

In 2016 Van Koningsbrugge, Jansen and Jansen announced that they went as ENGINE ROOM.

On 24 December 2016 the band announced they were breaking up after a 13-year career.
