Las Cruces
Background information

HistoryEdit

Las Cruces is a long running doom band from San Antonio, TX. Formed in the mid 90s, the band has released 3 albums: S.O.L., Ringmaster, and Dusk. The band's albums are characterized by over-the-top heavy doom riffing and the catchy, wailing vocals of frontman Mark Zammaron.

The band has had several lineup shifts over the course of it's history. In the years since Dusk's 2010 release, the band's touring lineup has consisted of long time members George Trevino (Guitar), Paul DeLeon (Drums, Vocals), and Mando Tovar (Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals), joined by Jimmy Bell (Bass) and (as of July 2015) Jason Kane (Vocals).

Due to it's longevity and strong records, the band is well known outside of TX, around the U.S., appearing at national festival's such as Wisconsin's Days of the Doomed where the band headlined in 2014. For many in the U.S. underground traditional doom scene, Las Cruces is the most recognizable name after Solitude Aeturnus.
