King Kronos are a stoner rock band from Germany. Active since 2008 the band exhibited a sound similar to Truckfighters or Acid King and ultimately managed to release one album since their inception.

King Kronos formed in 2008 as a five-piece in Germany. Little is known of the band's beginnings other than the band performing at sporadic festivals in their home country such as United Forces E.V. in 2009. Eventually the band would release an album entitled Soundzilla in 2012 after signing to Elektrohasch Schallplatten. The band would follow with an appearance at Stoned From The Underground Festival.[1]

On 16 February 2013, King Kronos announced a change of lineup along with plans to record new material in the studio though no shows or recordings have come since.[2] According to the band's MySpace page they have "changed their name to Lumo Portanto" with a link to that band's respective bandcamp page, with René Lehnert and Stephanie Koch involved with that band while Fabian and Tom stayed with King Kronos.

It is not known if the band is still active as of 2016 with their last post being an announcement of an appearance on a 6CD compilation.
