Inerrant Rays of Infallible Sun (Blackship Shrinebuilder) is a split release between stoner metal band Om and experimental neofolk artist Current 93, released circa June 2006 via Neurot Recordings.

BackgroundEdit

Not long after both artists' respective albums were released it was announced via Neurot that a split between Om and Current 93 was in the works, both bands providing exclusive tracks. It was released on Digipak CD and 10", the latter in the following colors and variants:

  • Clear Blue (Neurot mail-order exclusive)
  • Clear Purple (Europe exclusive)
  • clear Red (Europe exclusive)
  • Clear (Europe exclusive)
  • Clear Green (North American exclusive, limited to 1500)
  • Black (Unauthorized copies sent to UK, possibly 25 copies)
  • Turquoise (Unauthorized mispress, limited 300)


The Current 93 side is dedicated "To the memory of Howard Logan (1935-2006). Rest in the Love of God."

The OM side is dedicated "To Lucille (1913-2002)".
